is 1and1.com good and reliable for warez/porn domain?

Anybody here bought domain from 1and1.com ? can you please tell me your experience with them ?

1. do they allow to domain transfer to another registrar?
2. do they allow to change ns ( i had worst experience with instant-deploy)
3. are they reliable ? did you ever try it ?
4. do they support warez and porn related domain ?
5. any difficulty you face with them ?
6 . How many years are you with them ?

please advice me should i take from there or not .. and if you have any good source where i can buy cheap domain also mention

You need to look for hosting cuz any domain provider will do... all godaddy has over 1and1 is faster dns resolving

DO NOT USE 1AND1

Had to make sure it was in caps so you'd really look at it.

Their DNS management is terrible, transfers are a nightmare and their control panel sucks. Customer service there is basically non-existent. Its really not worth the trouble.

I'd recommend namecheap

or if you don't mind paying a bit more (i'll sell at my cost) I will register domains through OpenSRS and host the DNS on Zerigo (Geo-redundant DNS) this is probably the safest method as OpenSRS is very relaxed with what they check and i can register in singles or bulk easily.

yea i was about to sign up with them
but then i googled and read some horror stories about 1and1

transferring out domains is pain in the arse, apparently you need to fax them to prove you're the legit owner of the domain:facepalm::facepalm:
