IPB Error

I was trying to do something and I deleted the templates cache files from the Cache folder and now I cant access the site.

I get this error

Go to http://-yourdomain-/admin/index.php and log in to your ACP.

Once there, go to Look & Feel -> Template Tools.

In the top box, Recache Skin Sets, recache all templates. This should write all skin files into your folders again.

Modifying skin files directly is not encouraged!

^ He can't login through ACP.

cache/skin_cache/ and CHMOD it to 0777

Or if if you manage to logon onto your ACP you should recache your skin folders like Buddah suggested.

1. Browse the Tools folder in the package where you got IP.Board files from.

2. Upload upgradeFinish/index.php to the location that will match

http://example.com/your-board-path/admin-path/upgradeFinish/index.php

If board is installed in ipb path and admin name is default, url will be:

http://example.com/ipb/admin/path/upgradeFinish/index.php

3. Run that script and it should work to recache essential system caches.

NewEra when I do it, it goes all the way to step 13/14 then I get this:

This shouldn't prevent him from logging into the ACP. Does it still throw that error in the ACP login page?

Just re-upload the cache folder from the old backup, see what happens

I did all that dlow. And the ACP throws the error posted in the 1st post

Go to the database member table and change your skin to 1 and see if you can log in.
