How to promote my site?

I create a new site www.uniquedownloadz.com. Right now, I don't have much users in my site (uploaders & users). How can I increase my user base? Please help.

Exchanging links with other similar websites is a nice start.

Buy Backlinks, Buy Adspots on Good sites! Make it Popular and Do alot of Link exchanges

1) Work on getting traffic from google.
2) Submit to ddl sites.
3) Be active on warez communities.
4) Upload archives with your site name ex: Something_www.mysite.com.rar, put readme.txt file in your archive etc.

That's everything I can think of right now.
