This is a good way. One can also use expireddomains.net to find expired high PR domains.

here is another tip
after you have bought that domain
setup a wp blog on it put 2 unique written articles on it
and apply a good theme (seo quality theme)
and on next pr update
99% u will make it as new orignal pr or just pr lessened by 1
tested and worked for my all 7 domains i bought in past
