How to create multiple screenshot from a video file?

Is there any tool which can create multiple screenshot from a video without playing the video file? vlc player and other few app can do but it require to play the video file which is hard in rdp. mtn command line can also do but wondering if there is any GUI version. don't suggest thumbnail me because it can create only thumbnail images. i want to create video screenshots like this:

You can create a shortcut to mtn command line file and after its location in target put the codes for it. Then you just select all the files you want and put them onto the shortcut and it will make the thumbnails in the folder where the video is.

I'm not sure what kind of OS you use in your RDP but for linux you can use mplayer with imagemagick.

I'm unsure if media player classic requires you to play the file or not but I know that had this feature.
