How to ask a question on Forum?

Hi guys, I want to know that what is the perfect strategy to ask question on Forum? I find my thread remained unanswered by the people? How could i plan a thread to make it work? The basic purpose of my thread posting is enlightenment and i want to clear my doubts on the subject.

Make it interesting and valuable to readers. You don't ask questions with obvious answers already.
You ask smartly, something that will attract smart argument or discussion, something that will give benefits to readers and to those who will engage.
Or in short, something that makes a lot of sense.
