As far as I know file hosting biz is a short-life term most of the times. I mean one file hosting opening one day then closing few years later (like filesonic, wupload, mega, rapidshare etc.). And all of the uploaded files will gone without any warning to uploaders.
Even if you backup your files remotely on another host then another problem would be come up:
- If you use a blog which gives download links on one host and you have backups on another host and the first host goes down how would you change all of your links to the new file hosting links? Because every file hosting links are structured differently. Is there any easy way to do this via bulk process?
For example:
- You have 1fichier links in your blog and also backups on filefactory, in instance someday 1fichier close then how could you change all of your links on your blog posts to new host links?
