We have built our cloud platform using all Intel Xeon E5-2660 processors, Samsung 830 series SSDs, Intel NetEffect 10Gbps network cards and Cisco switching equipment! Our servers are from Supermicro. We do not use any "cheap" things on the hardware side, and have a premium network as well! There are no simple hard drives used in our cloud - only SSDs.
Q: What is a difference between a simple VPS and Cloud?
A: In case the host server hosting your Cloud VPS has an issue, the Cloud VPS will automatically fail-over to another spare host server. If a VPS host server fails, you will have to wait for a staff member to check manually, however!
Each node consists of 2.2 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB SSD and 10 GB backup storage. It costs $25/month and gets cheaper as you buy more nodes. You can add or remove more nodes on the go.
