My website crashes whenever 70-80 people connect to it. I've seen that whenever there are 70-100 people online on my site, it crashes. Sometimes it gives an error "Error Establishing Database Connection"

I have this package of hosting at Vps.net:
Dedicated CPU 1.2GHz
Dedicated RAM 752MB
Disk space20GB
Network transfer500GB

Please Help.

Dedicated CPU 1.2GHz << Thats Why , Why would you have a 1 ghz CPU ?. Better off getting a small dedicated server. Then atleast you can have the whole CPU to your self :P.

Ps . Get a CPU 2.0ghz or higher :D

it seems you are running wordpress and you are on VPS, have you tried using any cache method using plugins like w3 total cache? , you can also try reducing number of posts visible on main index, try optimizing your mysql database and apache, also you may consider using nginx as proxy :)

which http server do u use? apache lighttpd nginx? try to lower the max. connections added and increase the que/child connections. or just fix your php code.

EDIT: oh sry... my bad... it's a VPS lol. then you probabbly should talk to your hosting admin... they maybe have too many users to which the server is shared and it just overloads. ;)
