Help Image not accessible directly but embeeded in page it works

Hi,

I am having an issue. I have an image embedded into a webpage and when I load the webpage the image loads. BUT when I copy the image URL and load that, it doesn't work and instead shows a blank page. Any ideas to how I can see the image using direct link?

I believe its something to do with the referral.

It could be you or your host has hot linking or direct linking disabled in the cpanel.

Or you have a .htaccess that only allows that folder or all images from being accessed directly.

Check your cpanel and .htaccess files

in cpanel look for :

[h=6]Security[/h]

Password Protect Directories
IP Deny Manager
SSL/TLS Manager
SSH/Shell Access
HotLink Protection
Leech Protect
GnuPG Keys
