Hardware ID's on RDP

Hi There,

I had recently changed my RDP but the person who gave me the new RDP had the same hardware ID of the previous one. Bu the IP address of both the RDP were different. I wanted to know what was the reason behind the Hardware IDs being the same. Thanks.
