Gauging interest: Add space on OneHitGamer

I am interested in selling ad space on my forum but i do not know the amount to charge, i do not want to put a high price and get no results but i also do not want to be selling it off cheaper than it is worth.

Any estimates for price would be wonderful!

$2 a day is $60-$62 a month 5k uniques isn't worth that much.

we get 25k pageviews a day and the image will be on every page, 60% of traffic is from google.
Its a large banner too.

he said he wouldn't want to go below $1.50 as he earns $1 from google adscence.

Why would you charge $1.50 a day? That's insane for 5k UV. I've talked to people who've been running sites for a while and they are estimating around $10 a month. He shouldn't base his prices around Google Adsense. Tell him no one will buy ad spots for $46.50 a month for that traffic.
