Filecrop Bans Porn Out of Respect for Women

The popular cyberlocker Filecrop decided to disable access to all porn on its site.

An interesting move, especially when we read the Filecrop’s motivation.

Apparently the cyberlocker thinks porn is disrespectful to women, or one woman at least.
Our guess is that in addition to the respect issue, Filecrop is overloaded with porn related DMCA notices.
Unfortunately the porn filter is also disabling access to some non-adult content.

Poor Filecrop. They are just a search engine and if they block, people will find using other services. Necessity is the mother of invention :D
 
Has anyone noticed a trend toward file hosts in the news section lately?

Also that your post counts are not increasing with posts in this section any longer?

It's about time, I never really used to post replies or threads in here. I'm more like a reader. But I've never seen Filecrop before, but that isn't a smart move. Because porn these days are so popular.
