According to reports, the Facebook app for the iOS platform will become much quicker and will allow users to access the social networking site in a much faster way.

The social network's iPhone app will get a major speed boost, according to a new report by the New York Times. The report cited Facebook engineers and said that the social network is planning to completely revamp its app for Apple devices.

The report suggest that the latest version of the Facebook app is being tested by engineers at Facebook and is expected to be released sometimes during the next month. The report said that the app will most likely look similar but will work much faster.

It is believed that the new app will be built primarily using a coding language called Objective-C, which is also used to build many other iOS apps. The existing Facebook app is uses Objective-C for but many of its components are based on HTML5. Experts say that Objective-C is faster than HTML5 because it collects less information from the internet, unlike HTML5 that draws content directly from the internet.

Facebook's iOS app really sucks, always buggy, slow, etc... Coming from the biggest social website in the world, it was time that they solve that issue.
