Hello,
Is there any alternative to Ecatel in europe?
Well, Ecatel seems a unique company with great freedom of contents.
The problem just reside in their high prices.

So do you think that there is a real ulternative to it? cheaper one but with same policy.

@lib3rty1: no, OVH have content restriction when it comes to copyright content.

What is your info about beltic? their speed?
 
Baltic servers have good speeds(100mbps), but you are only allowed to use 20% of the bandwidth and you have to pay in 3month terms.
 
@local: Just investigating about DC that don't care about the complaints.
What do you think about Leaseweb.com ?
I have noticed many large warez forums are hosted there and among them are amaderforum.com.
 
Actually, you can host a warez site EVERYWERE as long as you comply with complains. So it's possible in Leaseweb as long as you comply ofcourse.

Why not Ecatel? They are not that expensive, what's you budget and specs you need?

Either get a vps from any hosting company here that has vps's at Ecatel.

OR

email info@ecatel.net and see if they can tailor you a special offer.

They are known to cooperate and provide the best customer service.

So, if I was you, I would mail them first ;)

@l0calh0st: i don't want a host right now, just investigating...but they are expensive if you compare them with other DC, I think.

@vps9Ryan: sure: XSLTEL would be my first host if i want vps from Ecatel.

@bhanuprasad1981: I think that people at baltic are friendly regarding this.
