cant install cpanelll error installer.lock

Hello All,
I can't install cPanel into my dedicated. Here is the error. Centos 5.6

i try remove /root/installer.lock
but error

[root@v3 cpins]# rm /root/installer.lock
rm: cannot lstat `/root/installer.lock': No such file or directory

Plz help me

The installer lock has already been removed... Its saying since it cannot connect to cpanel.net then it had to cancel the install..

Ask your host if they blocked that site or if your banned from there server
 
how to added reslover IPs.
i already yum update

and try install nano to edit this
use # yum install nano
got error

nano-1.3.12-1.1.x86_64: failure: CentOS/nano-1.3.12-1.1.x86_64.rpm from base: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

i dunno how to use vi edit /etc/resolv.conf

Hi,

Please first get familiar with the "vi" editor - google it :)

then just type

vi /etc/resolv.conf

change the first line to : 8.8.8.8
change the 2nd line to : 8.8.4.4

then close the file (save it ofc).

Then issue

service network restart

That should do it :)

Settle
[FONT=Candara, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]updated my resolv.conf file to add the nameserver string. then ran "yum clean all" and "yum update"[/FONT]
