can't format memory card

Hi everyone,
I have Micro SD memory card of 2GB and when I format it using windows format tool it says "unable to format".
I have searched too much to get rid this but can't find any thing.
Anyone help me out in this plzzzzz..

Try using this tool.

Also if your microSD -> SD (I suppose you're using that) has a lock switch make sure it's not enabled...
