Business Software Alliance Withdraws Support for Stop Online Piracy Act

The U.S. Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), which would allow U.S. authorities to seize the domain names of copyright-infringing websites, has taken another blow as a leading proponent has withdrawn its support.

The Business Software Alliance (BSA), which initially supported SOPA, has decided the legislation goes too far.

Good news for some people but rather than seizure of domains, they should take down big release sites, apparently that is not possible either.

SOPA will probably go, too powerful companies are pushing it, and what's new in US pushing their own ideas, that jeopardize other people rights in foreign countries? They don't respect anything, they are lead by money.
