My personal opinion would have to be adsense. Adsense is run by Google, a MULTI billion dollar company, if not more.

Any other smaller advertiser is run by private businesses which wouldn't generate the amount of traffic, or income. You'd be safe to say adsense is one of the best, most reliable ad systems supported currently.
