Hello,


I wonder if it's possible to connect my AppleTV to a seedbox, and make the ATV stream the content that I download to the seedbox? My Internet connection is horrible, so being able to connect them would be lovely.
If so, what seedbox would you recommend?

I am kind of confused here. How do you connect to your seedbox? With your horrible Internet connection I suppose.

Are you putting us on?

The Apple TV works similar as my WD Live Hub. I download the content from the remote server, then stream it to the WD Live Hub through Windows 7 shared folder.
 
However, what if my download connection is decent (2MB/s at average), but my upload is horrible. Wouldn't a seedbox be a better alternative then?
 
If your download is good you can opt to store all of your files on a seedbox and stream them.
If you have root access you could even install samba on your server and reach it via windows explorer using \\YOUR.IP
