Anyone tried Vanilla Forum software?

I remember checking out vanilla a long time back but now looks they have improved a lot in SEO, customizations, mods

Anyone using their forum software?

Never heard of it. Does that script even fall under "forum" category? It's more of a combination of a guestbook and um, a blog? Maybe I'm just used to the ol' forum layouts/structure.

Looks very active though.

I'm currently playing with FluxBB, very lite and basic forum setup (not as basic as Vanilla though).

Yes i have used it and also customized it with the plugins that are available.

Well, i can say, it is great for something like "Yahoo answers" or small talk. Not really something to build a big project or a warez site on.

I've been tinkering with Vanilla for a few weeks now, and I must say it's quite nice.
Not as "standard" as the other mainstream products out there, but it gets the job done.
