Some of my plans for the fall and winter include:
Running trotlines - in september and october the catfish should start biting, so I plan on running some trotlines.
Scouting for deer sign - the drought has been bad this year, so I will be checking creeks that have water in them for any signs of deer and hogs.
Squirrel hunting - first weekend of october is opening weekend of squirrel season
Deer hunting - first weekend of november is deer season
check the wildlife feeders - I need to get out to the lease and check on the feeders.
Camping - gonna try to make a couple of camping trips this winter, it was just too hot this summer.
Texas Renaissance Festival - opens in october, my wife and I usually go the second weekend in november.
