Makes no difference.

But www is outdated these days anyway. It was originally used because a server can host anything, not just websites, meaning the www subdomain was meant to point to the website.

But these days people dedicate the domain its self to the website, making www pointless and not needed.
 
There are at least 2 reasons that you should redirect all the URL to your web site to be with "www" or without "www".
1) Search engines consider www.hostucan.com and hostucan.com as different websites. As a result, if your website has been linked to from other websites using a mix of the two URLs you are effectively splitting the potential benefit of valuable link popularity.
2) If you enable Cache for your web site, then for those cache system, they will treat www.hostucan.com and hostucan.com as different URL and generate the cache record twice. This might cause some performance issue.
