Why am I selling?
As some of you already know I recently quit university, so now it's time for me to take a job. This will require my full attention so it's time to close the books for whoo.ws. I simply won't be able to manage the site anymore and I feel like it's best I sell it to someone who will take good care of it. This single website is hosted on a VPS which has 2+ months left so you don't even need to transfer the site.

Submitting Downloads
I have coded whoo.ws in a way that whenever someone is an "official whoo.ws uploader", his/her topic automatically are put as "safe for submission".

The autosubmitter automatically grabs the downloads that are safe for submission and that haven't been submitted yet. Upon submission it automatically sets them as submitted to ensure you don't submit the same download twice.

Member System
Whoo.ws also has a member system that allows people to register and add their own downloads to whoo.ws.

In order to add downloads a user must have activated his account via a link they receive by email. The user must also be logged in.

I haven't put a single advertisement on this website from the day it started. Until now the website has $0 revenue but that doesn't mean this can't be changed. You can easily sell links/other ads in order to pay for the hosting.

This site is easily worth over a thousand USD. Good luck with the sale Whoo. And I hope the new owner keeps it running as is or better. But not worse :P
 
Review of Script
Over the years Whoo has shown me various parts of the script so I'm leaving a review on it as anybody can see see the source of Wordpress or vBulletin etc. but nobody can see Whoo.ws. Other people such as JmZ (creator of WCDDL among other things) has also seen parts of the script and would no doubt confirm this review.

It's incredibly well designed with speed, efficiency and security in mind while also allowing for development and expansion.
All features are custom coded and designed with easy of use and saving time such as the Admin Queue Submit system which can save you hours every week and help ensure you maintain the maximum rating on all DDL sites which is often lost on the sale of a high ranked site.
The template and coding structure used will enable any coder to quickly understand how it works and allow them to expand the script with additional features if desired in both a time saving and server resource saving manner.


Personal Message
Whoo.ws is a once in a lifetime chance. Almost every single day some blog powered by Wordpress is for sale and every few months a 5 star site goes on sale but never before has a site with the maximum rating in every single DDL site gone on sale that has being custom coded from scratch with Warez in mind.
When you buy a Wordpress site you are buying a generic script designed for the masses and therefore is limited in a way.
Whoo.ws is the longest serving 5 star site on MechoDDL not owned by the network and has among the best quality downloads in our system.
Its incredibly sad to see Whoo sell this but I understand the reasons behind it and only hope the new owner does it the justice it deserves.
