A year passed - my PPD experience is far better than other hosts here. Some webmasters use our services and make changes to various aspects, including speed, spending, and exclusivity. So many discouraging people here, but some are really helpful. Anyway, looking back, I grew and my site developed so many options. Now we have like 100+ users (Daily Active) using our system, and we are happy with PPD.
(Some small file uploaders are still angry.) = but you have to understand, we have to cover expenses on the clouds, not physical servers.
I explain = We use services like R2, Mega4, and Storj for file distribution as per availability. AWS for main storage if we need to load balance, or if users' files are deleted by DMCA. We revive our main site or return user his/her DMCA-affected file. So if we allow small and large-sized files at the same rates on PPD, small files use costly services like Storj mostly. On the other hand, Bigger files use R2 or Mega4, which is lower than the distribution cost.
(Yes, we did try Backblaze 2. But most files get corrupted. When we asked B2 why? They said all the compressed files are not by the latest compressor, so sometimes they may have issues with extraction. Now users may use anything, everyone can't afford the latest machines that support the latest software right so we left !!)
So if you want to earn real quick, because we pay every week! You can try sqzfile for a change. Pay by Capitalist or BTC or Payeer! right now.
