what location is best

Hi,

which one of these locations will give best speeds;

France
Germany
Luxembourg
Netherlands
UK
USA

Which one should I chose? I'm going to buy a VPS so I can have Remote Desktop but I have no idea what location that will give the fastest download and upload speeds. I am going to dl from pvt trackers and I will upload to filehosts such as rapidshare, hotfile, megaupload, x7..

They are all Linux Servers

There is no single answer. As different file uploading service is based on different locations.

Just pick a datacenter which has the best bandwidth providers, with rapidshare you can pick several,pick a few and check which one is the fastest and chose a datacenter with that bandwidth provider.

Bandwidth is the most costly part of a server.
