What i need put in hostname?

Hello i want creat vps in dedicated server.

I will install HyperVM and install OpenVZ VPS. I not have any domain bought. I only have IP server from Leaseweb.

What i need put in hostname?
And put server name?

Please help me and i need setup dns or other steps?

Add anything you like has hostname.

Example : server1.yourdomain.com

Resolv Entries - You can get them through this command in SSH root access

cat /etc/resolv.conf

Keep Server has localhost no issue with it.

CentOS x64bit would be best to get full RAM usage .

Because i not have domain Or i need bought domain for hosting and add domain hosting?

You can use a dummy hostname also . Not necessary unless you are hosting a domain on it .

Example i bought Server from leaseweb and they send ip and information to login in putty right?

After I install HyperVM and Creat OpenVZ VPS how show picture but i dont know what put hostname.
Because i not bought any domain.
