Hello dear forum members,

I would like to set up my server, which I have in a rented rack with a few other colleagues. Now the question is how I can integrate this server as a share in Windows and Mac, maybe even in the Dreambox. The server itself is also running Jellyfin, but that is not important for this process, as I just want to share specific folders to have more storage space available. The MacBook is not accessible in terms of storage, and I want to outsource some data to my server.

Use SMB or NFS to share folders from your server. On Windows, enable file sharing with SMB, and on Mac, use "Connect to Server." Dreambox can access via SMB or NFS too.
