Unable to access script using IP and username

I have WHM/cPanel v 11.40.9 Installed in my centos server. Earlier i was able to access my accounts using ipaddress/~username but suddenly today i was getting 404 not found error. i have not changed any settings,even i have enabled mod_userdir Protection but still i am not able to access it using IP address. Disabling mod_userdir Protection is also not working out. Can anyone help me out with this?

it's been a bug for years, maybe to do with the apache handler.


Its a lot better to use your windows hosts file, add your domain & IP, this is useful when moving hosts so you don't have to wait for the DNS to update to check things are working, you can even use a domain that isn't registered.

Windows 7 - Edit the Hosts File

eg. add your domain and IP

119.42.146.34 warez-bb.org
119.42.146.34 www.warez-bb.org
