Video Encoding Recommendations​

For fast encoding with low CPU usage, it is recommended to use MP4 format with the H.264 codec without enabling multi-quality options.

However, if the video is not in H.264 codec or MP4 format, a VPS with a powerful CPU will be required for encoding.

The script supports multiple subtitles, which can be added manually. Additionally, if the MP4 or MKV file contains multiple audio tracks, the script will extract them if available.

Script Requirements and Technologies​

Our video streaming script is built using Node.js and Python, with the following dependencies required for optimal functionality:

  • Node.js: Handles the server-side logic and provides the backend infrastructure for the script.
  • Python: Used for video encoding, ensuring efficient processing and quality output.
  • PM2: A process manager for Node.js, ensuring the script runs continuously, restarts automatically in case of failure, and offers performance monitoring.
  • RabbitMQ: Acts as a message broker to manage task queues, enabling efficient communication between the video encoding service and other components.
These technologies work together to deliver a reliable and scalable video streaming solution.

PS: It does not work with S3 minis for storage.

When I first started offering this product, the original price was $250 USD, and after a while I decided to reduce it to $150 USD as a fixed price. On some special occasions, I made temporary offers at $100 USD, but those promotions will no longer apply.

The script represents hours of work, effort, and dedication, and I consider $150 USD to be a fair price for the value it offers. I have noticed that some try to take advantage of past offers to devalue the work, and this is not something I am willing to accept.
