i would say start with a new logo,tht one doesnt really suit the name/theme then ya can work from tht for anything else really.. status icons etc... as that theme looks pretty stock no?
 
just increase font size of logo and some effect if u are capable of doing gfx...

and the rest of the site is simple and clean,

remove the donate button ... its very beggining of the site so i dnt think its good choice to keep donate button..
instead keep vip section for payment kinda thing ...

u've used nexusddl twice (once as banner n once as text link not sure if u did willingly)

sort forums order like

apps, games , music,movies,tv shows ,ebooks etc etc ...

btw use ur own favicon ... (right now its vb original)

Gcs: yeah i had to leave but i was going to switch out the nexus button for the link. I didnt really have time to fix it all up.. now i got the bottom part straightened out...

Thanks for all of encouragement, i'm going to work on a new banner... the font size i wasnt able to make look good, but i totally agree.. i'll try an mess with that again. an that favicon i def got to change when i have time.

I dont have a VIP section.. always confused by the thought of having one... what do you put in your vip section if the guests already get everything due to the submitting rules of ddl sites??

provide torrent leeching or rapidleeching kinda thing for vips like 5/week on torrents leeching etc etc...

there are many ways to keep vip zone going fine n unique..

not all people going to ddl's hav premium accounts u can provide a shared rs account etc etc for ur vip's 8-)....
