- Updates, new domain. Decent skin.
- Skin isn't that good, but it's better than the default, hence it's integrated with a custom template which makes it more comforting.
- The navigation utilizing jQuery makes it more interactive.

'WarezShack' is a catchy name, easy to remember. I have nothing bad to say about the domain, nothing is wrong with it.

But, whole site is kinda 'not finished'. You do realize that you removed IPB's copyright, and added yours. Which is kinda pathetic, because, remember. We are against copyright? aren't we? I mean we share copyrighted stuff. Oh well, that has nothing to do with the site review. It's just my opinion on putting "Copyright 2010 SiteName on warez linking forums.

Navigation in footer isn't really needed, neither is the link exchange. Frankly, hardly anyone clicks on links from someones footer. And they will just ruin your sites rating (Google, not Katz). Just remember that if you have a lot of outgoing links on your site, that won't help you at all. Try to avoid link exchange.

Most of the forum descriptions aren't good, especially the one for 'Software'. You can remove the 'Linux' word from it. And replace it with "Mac". I know that there are some applications for Linux, but not many. Basically, there are more free applications for Linux than the paid ones.

Other forum descriptions are a bit kiddie, so you might want to change them. Some of the members would tell you to get a custom favicon. So yeah, you can get it if you want to have a normal forum.

Also, think about your forums header part. I thought it was some kind of navigation, get yourself a banner. And remove those "Get your links here". Who would buy a link on a fresh made Website? No one. It just fucks up your sites look.

Hide Chatbox from guests, it could increase the speed of your site.

Now that's what I call a 'proper' review, thanks for that, I read all of it no joke.
Yeah, I'll go have a re-do of all descriptions now and re-insert IPB's copyright. Guess your right about the nav in footer, It does seem pretty useless since I've got it in the header area.

I'll pop up a decent banner soon enough and replace the top box area with those link exchange text too, thanks for that.

And yeah, I'll hide sb from guests, thanks for that review was a +1 for that.

Domain name sounds really good. Glad to see you found something unique. Most of the guys here steal the other TLD's.

First, change your favicon. It looks like you made it with paints in 30 seconds.


Second, the header looks really plain. The logo sucks too. Whats the box for on the right side?

Navbar looks weird. Try removing the spaces between.


Now to the forum bit:

Move the katz button to the empty box you have on the header. It will look better there. Change the forum icons. Default IPB icons looks gay on that theme.


Try disabling the sidebar modules or atleast add some modules because atm, it looks incomplete and plain. I personally don't like the theme. Looks very light and white. Then again, I'm not a big fan of light themes so it's just me.

What's this seperation for in the footer? Remove it.

And about Jason's comment on LE, i gotta say this

LE's are a very good way to get some strong backlinks. Having 5-6 LE links in the footer won't hurt your "google" ratings but it will help your google ratings but try to keep it to a little no ( outlinks).


I am not gonna rate the site since it's not complete anymore. Just try to finish the site and ask for a proper review.

-That's a massive banner and it's taking way too much space, reduce the size to make it look better
-Logo looks pretty bland, get something more attractive
-I would ditch this bar and move all the links to that top, blue header
-Text seems way too small
-Forum skin is bland but it works I guess, I would get something better
-Katz banner seems very oddly placed, put it under the search bar

Cheers eW, I feel much better you like this name now yeah, the skin might look bad from your eyes, but the blue is what kills it, but a bit of modifications and custom icons, might fix it, i do love the gui tho, and yeah i'll try and design a better favicon too.
