I do not belive in unlimited webspace, there must be some kind of limit. I do belive in unlimited bandwidth, since here in Slovenia collocations at internet providers comes with unlimited bandwidth. There are unmetered features, which are a bit different from unlimited (allways read TOS and AUP from company). Most of the time (not allways) low cost plans does not mean the best support in all way. It can happen that low cost plans have perfect support and bad servers (high server loads, big memory usage,...) - I had that experience. My another experience was, perfect server loads, everything runs perfect as it should, but ticket support and live chat are really bad.
I am talking about reseller hosting plans related only. So give yourself question what is more important, to have good support or good running server?
What I would take, if I am choosing reseller plan:
- Take plan with good server responde
- If support is slow, try to talk with hosting company to set you everything in same day when you take their reseller plan (own nameservers if needed, SSL certificate - shared if possible and if you run small hosting company,...), so later you will not have any problems and no need to write tickets.
My opinion is also, take maximum master reseller, if you need alpha, just take small VPS for start
