mysql query to export database

is there a way to export my database in admincp with a query? reason being i try with the normal tools but the server just times out as the db is so large

i no i can do it in cpanel but its a nightmare and i am lazy

You can click the tables in sql toolbox and export each separately if the db times out backing up.

Or if you v3.14 you can use the SQL Back Up under support tools and see if it works.

MySQLDumper is a great utility for backing up and restoring very large dbs.

use mysqldump if you have ssh access

got it had to do it in phpmyadmin table by table worked tho

Nice. But you should give mysqldumper utility a try. Does an excellent job backing up and restoring huge databases.

Much better then bigdump imo.
