Alright guys, I have been using Megaupload regularly for years now, and up until the last week or so, no problems. Then this past week I keep getting this message every single time I try and download something, I am using a free account by the way. Any help greatly appreciated.

I believe it has something to do with a linkchecker.

i have had that happen when i use the cavern link checker within firefox

I have reset it, yeah mate. Tried unplugging it, resetting, flushing DNS, clearing cache etc.

I live in UK, with TalkTalk.

Cool Another Uk Webmaster :) Anyway back on topic TalkTalk, if i remember correctly they are a Dynamic provider so just turning off your router and turning it back on should reset your ip... and if you are getting the same message after resetting your ip it seems a bit strange...

I assume you have a secure wifi ?? and are not using any megaupload tools ??

Of course mate. :)

Yeah, it is dynamic. My wi-fi is turned off, I don't keep it on, I have it disabled. No, I download using IDM. Do you want me to post a screen of what I have installed, or processes?

how about logging off your account and trying to download something. does that work?
or wait half an hour see if you will be able to download again.

I have tried downloading after the time it says, and it says the same thing, just different times. Will try logging out now though, not tried that yet. Thank you for the help though mate. :)

EDIT: That works fine. :)

Thank you mate, I will contact Megaupload, and ask them why my account won't let me download. Thank you again.

When you reset your router, you need to keep it off for around 30 seconds, not switch it back on straight away. But yeah, sounds like an over entheusiastic link-checker :|

LOL! Yeah, Jay I know mate. I always give it longer, like 10 mins. I don't use Firefox link-checkers though, I use WGTools to check for dead links. It worked when I logged out of my account though, so must be my account or something?
