It really makes no difference to the search engines really. I have a number of sites in HTML and they are with out the dash. They rank well. I also have some wordpress sites and the URLs have a dash in them by default. They also rank well. It all depends on how the SEO is done. But IMO I was given the choice I would go for the dash
one as it is more readable to the human users.
