Hey there,

Just launched. Want your opinion of the design and such --
http://filesonicforum.com/

We're aware of a couple of bugs (such as the search form), so no need to mention things such as that. Just trying to get your opinions on the design, the layout, and whatnot.

Thanks!

1. Terrible logo, get a designer to do a professional one.
2. Everything is to Dull and Grey, do some colour changes.

Fix em up, then people might register.

Sorry to say, but can't see anything new in this site.

Same old boring vbulletin script with some forums in it, with a Forum Top Statistics which is way too old.

Last but not the least, the skin is not up to the mark.

You guys need to work on more.

I am not saying everything is not good, the thing is when everything is not completed, you should not ask people to review.

A lot of brush up needs to be done in the site.

Good luck and regards.

My rating is 3/10

Do these asap:
1) Get a new logo. Create a thread asking a logo design for free. Someone will help.
2) Also the font colors in the main page are very dull and hard to read. Change them to some dark colors.

I'll go with the 'whatnot', 'filesonicforum' sounds like you're an official Help Desk agent of FileSonic... IMO it wouldn't help either for you or FileSonic.

Get a new domain such as sonicism, soniclinks, or anything which is less obvious.

First of all, you can be sued by FileSonic for using their name in your domain name. They are probably registered company or they're owned by some company. Which brands the name "FileSonic". If you're not with the FileSonic, or if "FileSonicForum.com" isn't owned by "FileSonic" better change the domain. Other thing is that if you're not affiliated somehow with them, you can't know will the site be up next year.

So your forum would fail if they stop working as a file host, your forum would be full of dead links.

You're using their favicon. Their banner, way too much forum sections, template isn't finished. Basically, there is nothing to be reviewed except the domain.
