IPB Urgent Members Cant Register

Please help. If anyone knows how to correct IPB 3.1x registration page, I need help desperately.

Im getting an error that says email is already in use. I tried several different emails and they are not in use. It was working perfectly yesterday! have no idea what went wrong!

I tried inserting a member from the acp ... and again email in use.

Obviously there is a problem in the php email search code. pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee help me. I cant even find the page i need to fix in my folders.

I've never used IPB, but I am pretty sure in MyBB and VB, there is options that let multiple people use the same email address. If that feature is included in MyBB and VB, then I am sure that IPB has it. Try looking around the IPB admin panel. This can be used as a quick fix until you find a better solution.

ok.. i just read the insert values....

Why is it trying to insert emotes instead of the user's info?? where is all that coming from???
 
We did a fresh install of IPB and ran into the same issue. Arikarin had the same issue as well when warezpredator switched to IPB. r0ck fixed warezpredator, but he wasn't around at the time for ours so we just switched back to vb. I'd pm r0ck and see what he can do for ya ;)
 
This will be a IP.Converge issue.
To prevent this to happen with the "emails already in use" you must go to your acp -->Tools & Settings --> Log In Management --> and dissable IP.converge.

That should do the trick. So no need for a new install or switching back to vb :P
