Been so busy this past year, finally have some time to spend on WJunction.

I'm doing an update for one of my sites, like to hear some suggestions and such.

Features:

  • Dedicated Server - High quality quad core server gives us a very speedy site, and plenty of bandwith and personal space.
  • Open Forum - IGM has been an open forum since the begining. We do not force guests to register, all of our content is always visible to anyone who loads the site. We also don't have link hiders, thanks buttons, and all that other BS that make other sites fail.
  • No Ads - Guests and members alike have absolutely no ads, popups, etc.. (unless text ads/links are used to advertise our own content and services)
  • Clean layout - Simple, fast, customizable. This is what IGM has always been about.
  • Great community - Our community is very fun to be part of, many chat forums, shoutbox, etc... We try to be very helpful.
  • Registration Restrictions - Registrations are restricted for stupid members and bot use. Making IGM a real forum of integrity. This is why only a couple of (real) people register a day. And the hundreds of other accounts do not get activated (either because it is a bot or a 0 post, fake email member).
  • Music Content - We try to have every kind of music content avaible. Albums, singles, discographies, videos, sheet music, music apps, etc..
PS: ignore the movie, tv, and other app sections. They are for experimental use right now, just trying stuff out.

Any tips and suggestions? We have been a 4* site on katz for a while. Almost half a year, and we will apply for 5* either in November or December.

Hey,

A nice looking site but why the hell do you have a black favicon with nothing on it? I like the side bar, but I would suggest if there was an option to turn it off/on, some members may not like it and the ability to turn it off and on will help. The logo is nice and simple with a ''cool'' dude, lol. Categories are well set out with relevant description(s). There's nothing else to add tbh, It's an awesome Music forum, keep up the good work. Good luck. 10/10.
 
A very nice website !
I would make a more quality website of it by only uploading your stuff with your uploaders. That means quality then you will get only good stuff.
 
@Hawk: http://igotmusic.org/favicon.gif maybe your browser doesn't display it correctly.. Mine is working. As for the sidebar, that is new, the option to turn them on/off will be available in the future, thanks!

@Hussie: I've been trying to work on that, I'm planning on making a seperate forum or category for new albums or something where only a select few will be able to post in. But we'll see. Right now I still need more numbers and regularly coming visitors =\
 
To be honest, iGotMusic has to be the most presentable, 'clean' looking forum I've seen listed on here.
Your content is quite diverse and you have categorized the forum very well.
The graphics and layout are also very presentable.

If I may offer my opinion, you should definitely lose the 'Movies', 'TV Shows' that you have listed. Separate yourself from the 'norm'.
You won't have any issues in regards to traffic if those two sections are dropped.

Yea those sections are going to go soon, they were just for experimental.

I also co-own http://blazinroms.com so all the uploaders or members that want those sections will be directed there.
