.htaccess related question

i just wanna ask that is .htaccess file necessary because i think my htaccess file is stopping the ckediter files to be used and due to it my editer gone in posting

so any solution any suggestion??

I don't think .htaccess would be creating problem here.
It could be template problem too

Upload all images from Upload\images\editor from the default vbulletin installer to images\TEMPLATE_NAME\editor in your webserver vb root.

This should fix your problem
