How to split movie to rar files

Hi all,

How can I upload a movie (A.wmv) to any filehosting sites so that finally I get link such as

http://*.com/files/A.part1.rar
http://*.com/files/A.part2.rar
http://*.com/files/A.part3.rar

How to split it before I can upload it one by one and once files are downloaded and extracted...it automatically merge as one like original (A.wmv). Thanks in advance.

if you're using Winrar, see this pic:

on the left bottom side, there's "Split to volumes, bytes" option
use that to compress & split your file

my suggestion is, split, not compress..because compressing taking too much load and it's useless for videos..


Video files won't compress more,
For Video files like mkv, avi, wmv and all ==>> normal split using hjsplit
For files/folders/ISO eg: games/apps ==>> split using rar

What torrfriend said, except that WinRAR does split. Just change "compression method" to "store", that way WinRAR will not try to compress the data and will just pack it.
