how do I block putty ?

I sell RDP's
the other day I had a server go offline
and was told the problem was someone mistook the RDP for VPS
and was trying to setup a webpage using putty and screwed up the ports or something
well today another server that's been working perfectly since I got it
has gone offline 3 times
resetting the power seems to fix
it
but im wondering if someone is again trying to use putty
perhaps there is a way to block it from making changes ?
