I want to post up ALL of my uploads on a website. Maybe like an UploadersArchive type of site? Like everyone will get their own page.

Example:
If we use the domain "warezarchives.com" or some shit and then we have like

warezarchives.com/dxs and that's where I will have FTP access to make my own page and place my upload links and passwords there with a description or however i want to set it up?

Then make this archive site like AIDS all over Katz and Phaze and other DDL sites (just incase people want to look for uploads by specific uploaders)...
I look for specific uploaders that I know I can trust as well as sites I can trust on Katz. If I haven't been on a site, I will look at it but if it gives me that bad tingly feeling...I say fuck it and don't go back.

but yeah...this sounds like a good idea...anyone up for it to? We can all pitch in for like a small VPS or something since there will be uploaders logging into ftp constantly to place their links in one spot (would be nice). Easier to browse someone's uploads and such instead of looking all over the fucking internet.

I know someone made a site like that.
It was vBulletin and It had a section for every big know uploader like Exiles, RT, laser, etc.
Can't remember the link though.
 
o.0 Well...if we can't find a nice one or can't find that one then let's make our own? Hopefully Katz will sponsor it? :D Lol
 
a cms/blog system for uploaders would be nice ..but how many are interested since most uploaders are getting their own sites now
 
The thing i want to do is a forum for top uploaders.
They will have theyr own category.

Uploader1
-------------
Public:That means here he can post things he wants to be awaylable for public.
Personal:That will be password protected so he will be only one with accsess.

Uploader2
---------
Public:Same as uploader 1
Personal:same as uploader 1

Public posts will be posted so that if you want it to your forum you can use copy/paste.

So thats the idea.
 
Shit that's cool. But why don't we make a new site where it's ALL of the uploaders...of course...if they would agree. Like my idea.

Set up a site that will list all that are participating, have them have their own URL "domain.tld/uploaderusername" and yeah. They have FTP access to their own folder and can set it up however they want (of course html pages only). Why the fuck would they need to run their own script? Unless they want to organize with a forum or CMS or blog. So I guess scripts can work too but that would requite cPanel/Direct Admin access...UNLESS

When you get the FTP account, whoever is the main guy with the server will automatically set up a DB for them just in case and give them the phpmyadmin URL...that'll work.
 
Hmm i can get a domain and host.
But i need more people in this.
So if we could get more people working on it then yes it would be really good plan.
 
Not a bad idea, thought about this some time ago, just never got around to it.
I own a couple of the domains and have dedis.
I'll research it more over the next two or three days.
