High-Speed Proxy Software

Hello,
im in search for a good proxy software for debian.
SSH-Socks is realy slow and m0cks (my own socks) is not fast enough, too.
Is there any good software so that i can tunnel my gbit server over my other gbit server?
If you know one it would be great if you can send me a link to a tutorial but
a name of a programm would be nice too.
