Help needed.. - HOSTING..

Hello ..

Our hosting service provider has said that they will suspend our account by tomorrow..

i want to move my site to new host which i bought yesterday from peanut .

Can somebody help me ?

I can do it probably (depending on why you were suspended). See sig if you want it free (with one of three ads). Otherwise I suggest Scorpio directly or wrzhost.

i have hosting space mate... i wrote in announcement , that kickhost is not good and we are moving .. so he decided to suspend..

can you help ? i got hosting .. just want to move

I am busy atm or else I would have tried to help. You must be having CPanel on both the hosts then its hell Lot easy to transfer from one to another host

Cool. Follow this
1]Disable ur board & write something as "Down for maintenance"
2]Goto ACP of ur forum. Download the DB backup
3]Zip ur all files & folders from root & Download it (through CPanel).
4]Then fetch both the zips (DB & of files, folders) on ur new host
5]At the new host end, just use Cpanel to extract the files/folders in Root & restore the DB that u backed up from ur old host
6] Try if ur site is running (using http:// IP /~username)
7] Change nameservers at ur Domain Registrar

Done. Hope I am not Missing something here :P

What's your net speed? If your new hosts supports rl then install it first. Then go to your site's cPanel and rar all the files from it's given feature. Get your db somehow or use mysqldumper and put both files at your site's root and from the rl download both files and un-rar the forum files and use mysqldumper or bigdump.php to dump back. Just a method I thought when wX was small xD
