File host where the content to which the URL refers to can be changed

Hi!

I am looking for a file host where I can upload a dummy file and, I get the usual URL which refers to it. Then, a few days later, I would make another upload, the real content. For example on rapidshare I could take such an action with the help of their official uploader, I was able to overwrite a file which could be accessed through a given link, so the content to which the URL referred to has changed. Somtimes turned out that the uploaded file had CRC error, then I used this technique to fix it, without changing every link in forums. Does anybody know such a file sharing site on which this is possible and allowed?

If I get you right: You want to change your files after publishing them but have the same link so you don't need to republish them. Good guess?

If yes:
Use a link shorten service like safelinking.net and publish safelinking link instead of filehosting link. Then you want to change link, change in safelinking.
