Anyone had this?
When you go to login it gives you this and then you have to go through verifcation and download & install McAFee and scan :( but because it isn't your computer that has a virus it's the account itself, strange eh.. Happened to my old account which is why I made a new one and now it's happened again.. happened to anyone else or does anyone know how to resolve it?
Facebook don't even have a support place for this, as far as I can see anyway.

You have a virus in your computer. What ever you do don't follow those instructions. Look at the URL it's most likely not facebook.

Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, do a full scan and at the end you should get a log in note pad, please paste that in your next post for me to see.
 
It isn't a virus on my computer, I've tried logging in from various places I even tried in an internet cafe in cyprus when I was on holiday - it's a virus within the account if that is possible not my computer.
 
it is strange i didn't get any type of error like this in fb and why does educations comes before scan and repair does fb is worrying about our educations and asking us to quit fb and to go and read our textbooks
 
New member no problems signing in.

I haven't had any problems signing in. Thanks to the moderators for constructing and maintaining such an informative center.
 
believe me or not, but it's the IP ,
may be ur first account is old and hence it is considered as trusted, i don't know what coding or logic they are using hence can't tell why u can access ur first acc.


I am experienced in this , believe me or not............. it's the fact bcoz of IP ./

Use your brain and don't think much .. just read the following text.
A php coding of facebook can scan your Hard disk even C drive via browser and tells your computer is infected within few seconds ?? lol . lol

and you have antivirus which takes hours to scan your HD and even need admin permission to scan in C.

I see, I bought Nod 32 yesterday so need to install that. I've got AVG right now but about to expire but did a full scan & I'm admin on this pc & the only one who uses it and AVG full scan doesn't show any issues.. I'll try via proxy..

Edit: Just thought, if it was my ip then thats to my computer - why would it say the same problem when I'm trying to log in 50miles away from home, then when I'm in Cyprus 1000's of miles away?
 
try to login via mobile ... with different ISP , or go to your friend's house who has diff ISP ... and login using it

why don't you search in internet to check if your IP is blacklisted.
it's just bcoz of IP
 
don't login to your facebook account using public proxy
your login credentials can be tracked or recorded.. bcoz you don't know wethr the proxy server is trusted or not ...

bcoz ur details will be sent to proxy server first then it will be sent to facebook login site

anything can happen in between ..

proxys are already blacklisted so this won't help

may be facebook has implemented any feature to stop fake FB profiles which is made via proxy
boz proxy are 99.9% blacklisted, hence they are blocking all blacklisted Ips
 
no need to change place ....
IPs are distributed in different way by the ISP .

try to login frm a PC which has different ISP or has static IP


.. just do what i told above and tell me what happens next...
i will help u out of this prob..


if you had ever used cloudflare for your website
you must have noticed the same error ..you are infected with virus .//etccc...
