and was suspicious of their proof of download speed
so asked all

and that's where robert said
So I think we shud bring a rule, to stop these cheats that mislead users.

Basically, he doing what singlehop is doing which is considering cheating.
Basically this guy tried to download speed test file, and got faster transfer rate than the maximum of his physical link. And after investigation,
So there you go. Don't always trust the test file from the provider -- they might make wget download test appears faster than it actually is.
- The 500MB tar.gz file turns out to be null-padded throughout.
- Test file is served through HTTPS, using SSL's built-in compression, to achieve the appearance of ridiculously high speed, even though the actual bandwidth used is a lot smaller.
So I think we shud bring a rule, to stop these cheats that mislead users.
