I can't help on the subject but "ILLEGAL SCRIPT MODIFICATION", damn, that must be the gayest notice one can put in a script of which the main purpose is to participate in illegal shit >_>.

Yea but difference is we only participate in illegal shit. Actually i think we should respect if someone trying to make good things free.

And he was fast and kind enough to help me out. and i tried other ddl scripts but this is best.

No offence but i think its silly to keep putting these feeble encryption and mod prevention things in place... In all honesty i would rip it all out and unencode whatever i need to get the disired result so its just a pain to have to redo it in future versions.

Though i still keep a link to the homepage which is surely the main reason behind it? Encoding scripts is a waste of time unless they are paid and your using ioncube (which even now is becoming useless)...

I haven't actually looked at the function in v2 that does this check but im guessing it reads the files contents? Surely a huge waste of resources.

There's free and free, believe it or not. If it was free in the way that I like to define free there wouldn't be a need for such a notice, let alone encryption. That's just my humble personal opinion.

@ DEViANCE: The encoding is minimal and uses little (if any) additional resources. TBH I don't like it either but it has to be in there.

If you don't think the script is "free" then don't call it free. Call it whatever you want.

I just really fail to see the point of it at all, why does it need to be there?
