Hi, guys. I'm not sure what's the main reason but I can't load WJ site from my home PC. I'm writing this through the RDP. Anyone else having this problem?

i think its in 'run' not in 'command prompt'
hehe devil boy this is a webmasters junction so everyone knows how to go to command prompt lol. He runs his own small company to sell RDP's why would he not be knowing how to go to command prompt lol.

@LEVAC hmm the tracert is fine from your end you should be able to visit, i suggest try restarting your machine then see.

Okay, thanks. I'll try that.

Weird. Try flushing the DNS Revolver cache. Go to command prompt and type this and press enter:

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

If its windows XP

go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

find the hosts file and edit with notepad
then

go so
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost
212.7.200.164 wjunction.com

and it will work perfect

Try Google DNS?

4t3

I'll try restarting first then if it doesn't solve the problem, I'll try those suggestions.

PS : I'm running Ubuntu Lucid Lynx x64 as host OS and Win XP (SP3) x86 as guest OS.

Edit : It works on my guest OS but doesn't on host :\ I have all my WJ bookmarks in the host lolz.

Okay, I changed the DNS to Google's DNS on my host OS and it's working now. It's funny how I can load WJ from an OS that's inside an OS which can't load the site lolz.
